Jeep Gladiator Mxt Concept the Next Light Tactical Vehicle of the Us Army

He could make his military debut in the United States in the coming years as a light tactical vehicle. Especially after the company AM General, in charge of the creation of the original Humvee and Hummer, and the parent company of the American firm, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, have announced the Jeep Gladiator XMT Concept.

Considered as an ” Extreme Military Grade Truck ” (XMT), the model based on the pick-up version of the current AM General has shown two potential ways for the Gladiator XMT. When launched: a convertible version of open doors, it looks like a light transport vehicle, and a closed slope with a large rear area that presumably houses logistics equipment of some kind. The company claims that it is using “ custom-made and commercially available military-grade parts, ” although it does not reveal any further details.

“The new Jeep Gladiator has especially unmatched functionality, versatility, and capacity, including two, advanced 4 × 4 systems, strong lighting, locking differentials, protective plates, tow hooks, and incredible entry. The ventral and exit angles: the perfect base for this ultra-capable military prototype, ”said Jim Morrison, director of Jeep in North America. “We hope to generate interest and gather comments on the Jeep Gladiator XMT,” he added.
